Week 9, March 12-16 2018

Happy Monday I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!

This starts week 9 of the second semester, and 2 weeks before our major JROTC Program of Accreditation Inspection. This inspection happens every 3 years and we want to continue to get outstanding results in order to maintain our "Gold Star" for unit of distinction.  The past few weeks we have been preparing the cadets for this inspection because everyone will be involved at some capacity. This preparation involved the cadets studying questions that will be asked by inspectors; ensuring they know how to wear the uniform properly to include hair and nails; and perfecting their cadet portfolio's.

Progress reports went home March 2, 2018. I have spoken individually with the students who are failing and informed them of what they need to do to pass my class. If your student is absent and miss an assignment, it is their responsibility to come to me and find out what they missed. If it was a uniform day, the make-up is on Tuesday. If its drill on PT, they will have to arrange a day after school to make up that assignment. This class is set up for every student to pass but the have to be responsible and accountable.  This week schedule is as follows:

Monday - Drill & Ceremony/Round Robin Stations (Rank & Creed evaluations)

Tuesday - Class Instruction (Leadership)

Wednesday -
Uniform Inspection (Half Day)

Thursday -
Class Instruction (Sexual Harassment)

Friday - Physical Training (Team Cadet Challenge)
